Monarch® RBC Lysis Buffer
- Supplied as a component of the Monarch HMW DNA Extraction Kit for Cells & Blood (NEB #T3050)
- Specifically lyses erythrocytes (red blood cells) of blood samples, leaving leukocytes intact
- Removes nucleases and allows hemoglobin to be removed prior to leukocyte lysis
- Separate RBC lysis enables purification of highly-pure DNA > 1 Mb
- RBC Lysis also enables blood inputs up to 2 ml
- Store and use at 4°C
