CryoExpress (CX) "dry shippers" are designed to safely transport a variety of materials at cryogenic temperatures. The unique adsorbent material prevents a liquid spill if the unit is tipped over. Storage temperature inside the shipping cavity is -190˚C until the liquid nitrogen evaporates from the adsorbent material. Supplied with one cannister (Not suitable for ESRF baskets. Please order MD7-511 to use with ESRF/EMBL baskets or MD7-603 for UNIPUCKS).

The recently developed Upright Shipping case (MD7-4LSC) manufactured of high-impact-resistant material ensures smooth transit of your dry shipper and protects it from physical damage. A convenient addition to overcome rough package handling and increasingly longer shipping times.

Stainless Steel Dewars (Dilvac)

Wide-mouthed shallow glass Dewars, dish-shaped, fitted in stainless steel protective containers. Can be used with magnetic stirrer, designed to accept standard boiling flask up to 2 litres in capacity, for rapid freezing tempering of stirring rods, pestles, etc. The shallow form configuration allows for a minimum amount of coolant to be used.

Aluminium Dewars (Pope)

Pope Low Form Shallow Dewars permit essential operations not practical with standard cylindrical or spherical Dewars. These operations include:

Rapid freezing and recovery of tissue/organ specimens
Insertion of small flasks in Dewar
Agitation in flask with magnetic stirrer
Tempering of stirring rods, pestles and other small objects

The protective aluminium bases on both styles extend the full height of the Dewars. Note that protected vacuum tip-off tubulations are offset to the side to minimize space between the Dewar bottoms and magnetic stirrers. The hemispherical line has been expanded to provide additional Dewars to fit larger flask sizes. Pope Low Form Shallow Dewars permit essential operations not practical with standard cylindrical or spherical Dewars.
