Xenometrix 于 1995 年 6 月在瑞士 Allschwil 成立。从那时起，专门从事细胞生物学、生物化学、免疫学领域的科学家加入了公司。已经建立了一个全球分销商网络，以及一个在GLP和非GLP条件下进行服务分析的网络。

我们的愿景是为生物测定提供z越的质量和服务，如Ames测试、内分泌干扰物测试、皮肤吸收测试或细胞毒性测试系统。Xenometrix产品用于分子药理学、药物发现的早期阶段、化学品筛选、农用化学品、杀菌剂、化妆品、食品以及测试环境水、土壤、空气或废水。

Xenometrix专门生产小型化的Ames Test，即Ames II，Ames MPF PENTA 1和2，Ames MPF 98/100 Aqua等。这些检测试剂盒是一个完整的试剂盒，经过标准化和质量控制，使客户能够更快地设置Ames检测试剂盒，并通过标准化实现更高的可重复性。它们以液体形式在 384 孔板上运行，并且可以自动化。该检测系统是 ICH M7 指南中列出的小型化 Ames 测试，是 OECD/FDA 指南中引用的 Ames 波动测试的一个版本。
